Pump Placement - 900

Thread Starter
I have an Antec 900 and if you are familiar with the case it has 2 x 3.5 drive cages. I am not planning on using the bottom one so I was planning on sticking my pump in it. I was wondering if this would block the air flow of the intake fan or am I just paranoid. Has anyone done this before?

I think the bottom would be an ideal spot, but it would restrict airflow SOMEWHAT.

What i would do is move the two 120mm fans that you case came with, and place them in the top 6 drive bays. Put you media drives, hard drives, and pump at the bottom.

It will work very well--take a look at Velocitor when you have the time...it's linked in my sig.

I put one cage on the bottom--then a DVD then the other empty cage with the pump then a 2 bay res--but a one bay res would leave a slot free for another device.

It works great.

Sweet, I don't know why I didn't think about putting the pump in there when i first got the case. I will have to do some cutting on the drive bays so I can fit the tubing on the outlet of my D5. Thanks for the help guys.
