That's really not that loud ...Plus if he put the cover back on his case it would even be quieter...In my opinion its acceptable.

To me it is acceptable, although I find the noise level of 5 machines running in the same room at once (I've measured around 20db) acceptable.

5 machines and only 20db? Do they not have any fans or are they all on water cooling or something? One 80mm fan alone can reach the 20db mark easily.
