I brought it to be mobile so i can take it with me as I travel ALOT. I need a computer on the move. Its basically a work computer for storing files and accessing the internet using office programs etc. But I wanted it to be decently fast and also be able to have some kinda 3D.

Opinion: 8.5/10 Very nice notebook

Suitability: 6/10

If you travel a lot, 17" is a bit large and heavy. Perhaps something with 14" and a GF 7600 would suffice.

Rate our (my friend and mine) Toughbook!

Suitability: 8/10 (fix that battery life hehe)
Opinion: 8/10

Toshiba Sattelite A55-s306
1.5ghz Pentium M 599mhz on max battery saver (used to get 5.5 hrs on batt)
768mb pc2700 DDR
64mb intel xtreme 2 graphics
40gb 4200rpm HD
15.4 screen
cdrw/dvd rom drive

mostly used for surfing, chatting on aim and word processing, occasionnally playing SC or WC3, and WoW will run at lowest settings, also used it a bit for cs1.6. Its time for an upgrade after 2 years and 7 months.
