Newegg or Zipzoomply?

Thread Starter
Hey guys, do you think is it better to buy your stuff at newegg or zipzoomply? i found out that zipzoomply give free shipping, and doesn't charge tax. Newegg on the other hand charge tax and shipping. if you have a budget problem, would you guys recommend buying from zip instead? would zip give good customer service like newegg does?

Well never bought from zip before, always went w/ the egg. They do charge me tax b/c they have a warehouse here but other than that they are great. But since you said zip gives free shipping and no tax and if they have a cheaper price then you should go w/ them!

newegg charges tax because it has a warehouse in your state, which sucks for you.

Ok, If you want better customer service/ Better pricing, Newegg is the way to go, and the review people post are very helpful if your new to something. And Newegg doesn't have tax I belive but it might, and if it does, it wont be that much, just do a compare in pricing then see who you want to go with, But I'm staying with newegg.

I've heard ZZF's customer service is only so-so, but i kno for a fact newegg's is amazing!

so unless you can get something @ ZZF CONSIDERABLY cheaper than newegg, i'd stick w/ teh egg.

I have used both quite a bit. I like them both. The RMA policies for Newegg are a bit more customer friendly from what I have experienced. Zip had more of a wholesale mentality vs a retail mentality at newegg.

They both have fast shipping.

I do lean a bit towards Newegg now, because a lot of there stuff arrives to me next day from there TN location.

Whenever the prices are close to each other, I go with newegg, if zipzoomfly is much cheaper I go there.

EDIT: Let me add that the Newegg site is about 100 times better than the zipzoomfly site as far as finding a product.

The reviews are as helpful as you say they are. They are POS's for the much part and just stupid people acting like no it alls. The CPU is good but if wouldn't fit into the hole thingy..

Go the egg usually but tax + shipping will be more than any small overprice ZZF may have.

well, what i figure is that i'll buy important and expensive stuff like GPU or CPU, or monitor from egg, while the cheaper items such as HDD, ram or PSU from zip. For those heavy item such as cases, i think i'd go with zip, since they give you free shipping on it too, which can save you like 20 dollars or so.
