Need help (Australian build)

Thread Starter
A friend of mine lives in Australia and he wants a new rig for $2000 AUD. Preferably E6600 with at least 8800GTS 640MB and P35 chipset. I'm asking since I want to help him out but I'm not familiar with Australian stores at all.

Cue Chozart!

Thanks, but he is looking at $2000 AUD just for the rig, not including monitor and peripherals. Do you think he can pull off a GTX, P35 (DDR2 version) board, and a Zalman 9700? A good PSU is also wanted, something like a OCZ GameXStream 600W or better.

Stay away from gamedude, you can get the same stuff cheaper from elsewhere.

Zalman coolers aren't so good if you want to oc(imo). Get a TT120, or if you want cool looks, a Big Typhoon.

You can get most parts from www.msy.com.au and for cooling go for www.coolpc.com.au

www.staticice.com.au to check for prices, to make sure your not getting ripped off.
