I don't have an E6300

I have a 6600 and it's running @ 2.4Ghz, plus I don't want to risk damaging anything by pushing it too low.

If it's too low, anyway, won't you know immediately when it fails the stability test?

If it's too low, your machine might not post at all, then you have to go thru the hassle of resetting the CMOS, etc..

Ah, no good. Good ol' DS3 and it's ability to reset my settings so the system posts when I screw up.

I tried to boot @ 1.27v w/Q6600. : D Boy, that scare was pretty hard on my heart.

Don't try any modifications on the inside of your chip

Thats a given but heres a cool little fact. There are enough wires in just one CPU to wrap around the earth 5 times.
