You saw the brand? That are Micron DDR3 1066 Rams

Looks like would overclock like the DDR3 533 Rams which can overclock like these ones here to more than the double as stock!

It's actually running at 275MHz, sending out 8 bits per clock. So, it's as if it was running at 2200Mhz (275 x 8), sending out 1 bit per clock.

Obviously, DDR3 is going to need more time to find 8 bits of data than DDR2 needs to find 4 bits of data (or DDR to find 2 bits of data). Therefore, timings are looser to give the DDR3 enough time.

what does the amount of bytes it sends out have to do with it's frequency.

do you understand how the timings work? if your running the timings there listed with ddr@400mhz then your timings suck compared to the ddr3 ram.

it is not just the number that is important but at what frequency that number takes place.

for those of you that laugh at those timings saying they are not that great do you know how they work and what the number even referenes?

with the timings on this DDr3 ram not only are the timings better then a lot of ram out there but it's bandwidth is much better as well.
