Call of Juarez Demo - Page 3

i think the preacher part was the most fun. the shootouts felt really like i were in a western movie. yes the characters are all clichés, but what did you expect, it's a western. if they were not clichés, people would have complain that it didn't feel like a western.

i think what they should have done is let us choose to play billy of the preacher separately, that way, i wouln'd had to put up with billy and all his sneaking crap.

gun was fun too, never finished it, i should reinstall it

This was probably one of the most memorable FPS shooters that I have ever played. I haven't had this much fun since HL2 or Farcry. This sort of "tag team" style where you switch back and forth is quite unique and the story is quite decent. The graphics are quite good I felt and I did enjoy the different change in scenery and objectives (such as scaling the mountain for the feather - and the horseback riding felt quite smooth). Very interesting and unique game, just a tad short though. I would probably rate it 8.5-9 out of 10 in my mind.

But it was pretty. Woohoo.

If you want to play a Western shooter that's actually good, go pick up a copy of GUN.
That is pretty odd that you would think gun is better than CoJ........... Either that or you were just in a bad mood when you played the game - or maybe going through a tough time in your life (divorce, foreclosure on the house maybe???)... Either way it is still a great game.
