Vista Ultimate not show my overclock?

I Installed Vista Ultimate today and for some reason its not showing my overclock ive reset the bios several times and it doesnt even show the correct stock speeds just states 2.40ghz on a 4600x2 any suggestions?

Yea check cpuz. On my friend's comp vista says 2.0 but cpuz says 2.5.

K downloaded cpu-z and it shows the over clock but for some reason my 3dmark06 is off by around 800marks was around 9600 now 8890 hmm maybe i forgot to do something

Vista will only show what the CPU is rated at, stupid I think but the aboves are right. Use after market software,...............

am2 4600 x2 4gigof supertalent overclocked at 2.86ghz stable 12hr duel prime95 run with a msi 8800gts oc 320mb aircooled with a zalman am2 cooler 700w ultra.

got it up too 9250 wonder if its because of vista or because i went 64bit os.

Consider yourself lucky you only lost 800 marks by going to vista. I lose 2,200.

Your overclock is fine, and your computer is fine. Vista just requires alot more run and has nearly 2x the processes of XP.

Well so far im pretty happy and excited about the upgrade im sure it will get better. I wonder though if its throttling down the cpu because it seems im losing the marks there.
