$50 bucks to spent, but on what?

Thread Starter
alright im gonna hav $50 by upcoming monday,(got no job lol) yeah. my intel p4 rig need better cooling cuz it can get hot(52-57C idle) and its getting close to summer(california usa),

anyway ive been thinking of buying this fan/heatsink,

Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for socket 775

the reviews at new egg r really good but im gonna buy it at SVC.com (cheaper)

now should i but that or get a fan/heatsink for like $50, but i dont know which one 2 get.

OR

NOW I WANT A SATA HD CUZ I DONT HAVE ONE, LIKE THIS ONE
WESTERN DIGITAL 80GB SATA

BUT IF I BUY THAT HD AND THE ARTIC COOLING FREEZER IT WILL COME OUT AROUND $80

so should i wait until i get 80 bucks or just get a $50 fan/heatsink

Hes idling in the high 50s so I think he should get one. For 50 you can get the tuniq tower or the scythe ninja.

indeed storage is always nice to have but a 80GB isent really worth it in my opinion. I would go with the fan/heat sink

go with the fan/hs, 80gb is not much. I sure hope you are oc'ing, because that temp is a little high. If you are not oc'ing, get a can of air and some case fans clean out the case and move more air. That should come in around $20.00 then you could spend the 30.00 on dinner to congradulate youselff on a job well done.

Go for the CPU fan, your idle temps are pretty high, but still on the safe side.
