Well judging from your last two comments its obvious you dont actually own a PS3. So take your fanboy comments elsewhere.

Its funny, ive never heard anyone who actually owns a PS3 say anything bad about them. Like ive heard constructive criticism such as no in game xmb and the such. But I have yet to meet anyone who thinks they wasted their money.

It's true. Actual owners love the darn thing and it keeps getting better and better with every firmware update. An update or two ago that came out I was hoping it would include better downloading abilities and a few other little things and it did. Then F@H. With the latest update I wanted networking abilities, and sho nuff, it did. The PS3 is great anyway you slice it.

When I was looking to getting a console I saw the 360 but decided that it was a nice console but would not serve me half aswel as the PS3 would. I love my PS3. I can play blu-ray,Fold,browse internet, stream files and media. Its a mini PC really.

As said it gets better with every firmware updates. If you ask me there are many future possiblities for the PS3...More so than 360 IMO

Its simply worth the extra dosh

I feel like I maybe shelled out a bit too much (even tho i saved £75 overall with staff discount) and dont feel its entirely worth it.

HOWEVER last night I found out a buddy of mine has a 46" sony bravia 1080p set so I went round there with the PS3 and was simply amazed (mine is currently hooked up to an old 32" sony sdtv but i've tested it before on other ppl's 1080i sets).

I dunno whether it was because of the 1080p or whether it was just cos he'd set up the tv up properly but it definitely looked a lot better on the 1080p sony than the 1080i samsung and 1080i panasonic(?) I'd tested it on.

Guess what i'm just trying to say is this, PS3 is worth it if you can access the full HD experience in 1080p.

On a more ontopic note...Here's some comparison shots of upscaled ps2 games.
