Wow, good mobo lol

what do you mean how to overclock, in general or just that mobo / settings?

if its in general, what cooler does he have and just raise the fsb and voltages (if you have a GOOD COOLER go with like 1.45-1.5 vcore

3 ghz, just up your FSB to 333 mhz (should be at 266 mhz right now). That is all, I don't think it takes anything else to get an e6600 up to 3ghz, apparently it's pretty easy, and you can do it on stock cooling.

Hi, I'm t0nee's friend. If i simply raise the FSB to 333mhz, will my ram be able to handle that? I have 2GB Corsair XMS2s.

an e6600 should go to at least 3.4 gigs on a decent motherboard with stock cooling... but that is almost pushing it...

with that board you should try to hit at least 3.6 ghz if you get a nice after market cooler...
good enough

you should be able to run your ram in "unlinked" mode with the 680i chipset...

it lets you run your ram speeds independently from your cpu's fsb...

set the FSB to 333, run the ram at 1:1 ratio, and set the VDIMM to 2.2v

BOOMHEADSHOT!

You're done

well im running the memory in unlinked mode like the other guy told me to and when you set fsb in the bios the number is 1333 to make the cpu run at 3.0Ghz. I have the voltages set on auto setting. The memory is running at the stock 667Mhz right now, what should I raise just that too?
