I so need a 8800GTX...

Thread Starter
I have a separate bank account i setup only for online purchases so if anything fishy happened with the card being used at the local wal-mart to but 200 pairs of pokemon under ware i would know that i didn't buy them... If it was an online purchase it would be hard to tell....

Anyways... I have $534 in the bank for a 8800GTX. I've been saving for a few months. But when ever i get close, something comes up that sucks a 100 bucks here and there out of the account...

Once that baby hits $567 the price of the card shipped, from newegg, BAM! its a done deal, i just cant seem to get my account that little bit more before it takes a hit from something....

Does anyone know of a promo code or anything tricky like that to get the card for a few bucks less from the egg? i want the $559.99 evga 8800GTX card...

HELP!!!???!?

P.S. this 7600GT is killing me....

It has a $30 mail in rebate, and can't you sell your 7600GT for like 50 bucks?

I didn't like the Return(Unopened) glaring me in the face, personally. Just me I suppose!

dont forget taxes, that will hit you hard and over 600 for the item itself. But here is my opinion, and strictly mine, so take it with a grain of salt.

XFX IMO have a bad rep with me when they decided to decline me of RMA after they found out I had an aftermarket cooler. Problem was, my 7900gs xt was producing heat like crazy, and they said they could do nothing about it, but replace the cooler. At this time, many others I know who have the same card, were experiencing the same issue. So I decided to tell them to shove it and yeah.......

Anyway, I have purchased plenty of EVGA based cards, and their Support is great. They will send you a card as you send in the card, so you do not have to have your system sit idle for a month or so like what happened to me. They are also quick to respond to a ticket, thus being even better.

If the card costs 10 bucks more to go with EVGA, do it. 10 bucks more is nothing for its tech support, as a good tech support is priceless. You cannot put a price tag on good support with friendly customer service. I highly suggest the EVGA.
