Folding for 37726 - Page 2

hmmm, sometimes the client will go from 2000,000 to 350,000 depending on the core. It just may have updates every 150,000 frames or so. I dunno, I now smp runs it at 5000 frames per update...

CaNe,

You PC specs are pretty close to the standard F@H bench machine. On a WU that may be worth as much as ~500 points, one hour+ per percent is not out of the question. It wont be the fastest folder, but it will work its way through a WU ever few days. The console version will only update once each percent completed.

Are you running SMP? If you are, you should be running single core on that PC.

SMP is used for folding on dual/quad cores. The folder that your F@H is in should say SMP or not depending on what it is.

What processor are you running?

When you ran the setup, did you have to run a file called install.bat, and then the folding client, or did you just have to run one file?

Sometimes the client screen has been known to not update. Press Control-C in the console screen to end the console, and the restart it again, see if it still says 0 percent.

Looks like you are running the correct single client. Try stopping and restarting the client.
