Folding for 37726 - Page 4

Just run the config again and change the team number to 37726. The only time the team number matters is when WUs are submitted, so it's ok if there's a glitch along the way.

In the console-style versions, add the -config flag to the command line (on the target line of a shortcut to the excutable or in the terminal for Linux SMP). For the graphical version, right click on the tray icon and choose config.

Hi CaNe,

There are a couple of ways. If you're running the Graphics version of folding (GUI) than a little red gear will be shown in your task bar. Right click on that and move up the side bar to -configure- and click. Then type in 37726 in the team number box.
If you're running the console version - a separate window with black background and white lettering - then go to the Start button/My Computer/C drive/Program files/Folding at Home Open the FAH folder and double click on the configure.txt file. In the line that says team numebr type 37726. This is a notepad version of word/works etc so spacing is critical. Place the cursor at the end of the line, then backspace to get the correct spacing. If the number is in brackets, then type the number with in the brackets. Sorry I can't remember how it looks these days in Windows Console version...

I hope this helped, :-)

Hey taeric,

A lot of folks make these statements about the the command line :"add the -config flag to the command line (on the target line of a shortcut to the excutable or in the terminal for Linux SMP).":

I don't think most people know what that may mean. I didn't until several trial and error attempts. Is there any step by step posts or pictures for people to look at??

Thanks! :-)

That would be a good topic for a FAQ once the section is back up and running.

It looks like someone else is using the same name for another team. The username/folding team number pairings are what matters, so as long as you have them right, credit will go to the proper place.
