can anyone help me what i need to do, cause i am very close on finishing building my new computer and i want to use the cooler straight away.

i am fro the UK by the way, i would really appreciate it if anyone can help me on this.

thanks.
Actually, I'm not using anything between the motherboard and the backplate; double-sided tape may not be needed for your setup either, though I could just be lucky with the positioning. Speaking of setups, fill out your system specs for us!

The sticker thingy that is on the backplate is only to prevent the metal backplate from shorting out your board, and i guess it acts as a cushion so the TT120 doesn't rape your mobo.

So just get something non conductive and place it there, make sure it isn't too thick.

It doesn't even have to stick, the sticking only holds the backplate in place. Just make sure it is thin enough not to interfere with mounting, and non conductive.

No need to go to home depo, improvise!

I wouldn't worry about the thickness, because when you screw in the bolts, the double-sided tape will compress significantly. If you want a number though, I would suggest 4mm at most. 5mm is pushing it.
