Antec p190 on Newegg - Page 3

2 PSU's, so much wasted space. You could put a Rad/Pump in the place. Or get an ASUS board and an E6600

To be honest, I think its a good deal given that the Antec PSUs are good.

I would probably wanna see a JonnyGuru review of the PSUs, but from what previews said, they appeared to be solid performers (Antec's "green" PSUs rated for at least 80% efficiency).

Like others said, its a good deal when you look at what you're getting. A great case and two powerful PSUs. But I would bet money that Antec will soon release the P190 as a standalone case with a modifiable back plate for a PSU of your choice.

I wont begin to say the P180 is for everyone. However, I think its one of the most solid cases around. Its meant to be quiet, not portable. If it was targeted towards a LAN-centric market, the 32lb curb weight wouldn't fly. But its not.

Just a little bit of research would have shown that the P180 is a pretty big case, and hefty too. I have water cooling in mine, and boy its heavy. But then again, I am not disappointed because I knew it going in. It serves my purpose as a very quiet, discrete, and solid-performing case.

It seems over priced but I bet its worth the money. I think its unnecessary for a majority of potential customers.

Considering Antec's history or really great pricing, that is high. That said, I love their products.

I bet those 60mm fans on the PSUs are quiet

This really is a waste. You can get a 1k PSU for $250 and a P180b for $120. $70 cheaper and probably cooler and not as noisy.

I say BOO, get a Lian. XD
Well said.

I've had Antec cases & PSUs, as well as Lian Li cases (including my current Lian), and for the money I'll take a Lian Li + a PCP&C PSU any day over any Antec combination.

LIAN LI PC-7B plus II $89.99
PCP&C 750 Quad $199.99
Thermaltake 250w $55.49 (Not as though it's even needed, but just for the sake of comparison)

Total $345.47

Over $100 cheaper, and you're still getting better equipment. You really wouldn't even need the Thermaltake supplemental supply, as just about any rig that we could put together, save for some 10 HDD RAIDed, Quad SLI, AMD FX Quadfather behemoth, and even then, the PCP&C might be able to pull it off.

For the average schmuck who thinks more expensive is better, go fo rthe Antec P190... for the enlightened, there are far better choices for the money.

The fact that it is a "performance" case and already ships with PSUs is poo-poo

Let me decide how to power my "performance" rig

$450 bones to boot
meh........

dude ditch the dual PSUs... its unnecessary, and unless they are both FSP units, I wouldnt use them anyways.

but kudos for the side vent and 2 top-mounted fans.
