Easy rep for someone, i just want to be clear that i am doing the right thing

If i am not mistake you put a thin line down either end?

So that it covers both cores. Or am i wrong?

Thanks, Iced

Both cores? You must be waaay behind time mate
The 165 has ONE core (visually), so you'll still only need to put a small dab on the CPU.
*EDIT*

If you're going to rep me for this... please don't! I don't want to break my 666!

Cover the whole IHS, or remove the IHS and just cover the Core.
Yes, a drop the size of a grain of rice will do.

Just dab a small rice grain in the middle. The pressure of the Heatsink will spread it out evenly without any air bubbles.

I've never looked into dual cores before. Just bought the damn thing lol Thanks for notifying me though.

So how can it be classed as a dual core if ti only has one visual core

Anyways, thanks i will just dfo the grain of rice method. And you have 2 minutes to decide whether you want that rep......or forever hold your peace!

Lol i have a test for you gonx.....tell me why it is a dual core with only one core and i won't rep you

It has two core processors that are next to each other inside one piece of silicon. Conroes are the same thing. Kentsfields took two Conroes and stuck them next to each other. They are two physical processors and each one contains two cores. AMD's Barcelona will have 4 cores contained within one silicon chip.
