I'd like to lower to 2 multi on the ram, but unfortunately I can't get the system to stabilize 3.0 and DDR2-1000 with anything other than a 3 x Multi on the ram. And I specifically bought the HZ's to see 1000, not the stock 800.

Right now I'm perfectly stable with temps below 60c on air. Adding more case cooling, because I hit 55c/56c in TaT when I put a fan beneath my video card.

any reason why not, though? Something I haven't learned yet? The 4:5 divider seems fine. In OS X, my Geekbench went up from 5500 to 6000 on just because of the ram.

You should be able to get to 3.0ghz on a q6600 with reasonable voltages. Isn't the Q6600 basically just two E6600s under one hood?

Anywho, you have to try/fail a few times, it's time consuming.

Last I looked into it, they couldn't get it rolling because of the Jmicron SATA controller. or is there a different controller on the DS3 v3.3? I have rev 1.0.

Can't really "talk" about it here. PM or something.

It took me forever to get a stable, low temp 3.0ghz. At least two days worth of restarting and crap. Now I'm heading for a 58c 3.2ghz on Air. DDD

Zero, try reseating your Heatsink, or see what 1.31v gets ya.
