The extra voltage is worse than the extra heat. (but extra voltage leads to extra heat.)

My ram should be fine. It is stable in Memtest86+.

Right now I am running completely stock on the ram side. 667mhz, 4-4-4-12. Unlinked.

Sweet dude, that really helps him out a lot.

You guys can't say "every chip is different, that's just your chip" and then say "well, mine does this on this, so yours should do ..."

Every chip is different. I recall hearing that some of the conroes were having trouble in the mid range mhz. Some would be fine on less than stock voltage up to 2.5ghz and then it would take six bumps of vcore to get it to 2.6ghz.

CPU's last longer than most of the components in your PC, and the I believe that the recommended temp is 60.2C or lower for C2D. Having your CPU run 1.8C hotter than recommended may shorten the CPU life from 10yrs to 9yrs or something minuscule, but it certainly won't cause it to burn up in 12 months.

How common is it to see someone's CPU crap out due to having it run slightly hot for a year? Very uncommon, nearly non-existant.

I think you are just fine man, very little risk I would say.

Well i can do 1.35v at 2.8 stable. When I try to go up to 2.96 i can go up to 1.45 and it wont post. I take it up to the 1.5 range and it works.
