680i + 32B E6600 = WOWZA

Thread Starter
Reporting back on the status of my friend's new build that I'm working on. EVGA 680i T1, E6600 Week 32B, SI-128 w/ FM121, and RAID0 320GB Seagates.

First overclock: 3000Mhz, 1.3vcore, Orthos load temp in TAT = 39C!!!

I'm SO impressed the the SI-128 right now, it's a great HSF! Now to keep pushing, I'm looking to 3.6Ghz ultimately, and at this rate, I would say, if the CPU can take it, the HSF will keep up without a doubt! Keeping memory linked synchronous @ 800mhz 4-4-4-12(1T) with 2.1V is working well. I'll post pics and more stats if I have time

Wish me luck! Oh one question: Does HDTach not work with Vista? I was really dissapointed not to get a HDD bench

It says that it requires XP/2000 to me... it won't even engage.

Stupid thing, which version do you use?
