Since you pushed this thread to the top of the pile someone will see it (as well as me.), BUT what you really should of done is started a new thread not tacked on the end of a totally irelevent thread that has nothing to do with your question.
Go to the top of the screen then on the left it says - "Overclock.net - Overclocking.net > Cooling > Peltiers / TEC" click on just the "Peltiers / TEC" bit and that will take you to the thread view. Then you can see the "NEW THREAD" button.
The TEC on your TEC fridge will not be any use what so ever. In your little TEC fridge you put something warm and the TEC cools it then the insulation keeps it cold and since the object you put in doesn't get warm again the TEC has done it's job. Anything to do with a PC will be continually getting warm all the time the PC is on so the TEC wont be able to cope, certainly not the dinky wattage TEC in your fridge. It is a no-go i'm afraid.
And I am afraid, there is a little bit more to it than just sticking the TEC to the bottom of the rad.Edited by zipdogso - 2/2/10 at 4:44am
