New to overclocking

Thread Starter
Hello,

I would appreciate some advice on how to correctly overclock the system I am building. My System I am completely new to overclocking, but I am fairly competent and can follow instructions.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

try putting down ur system specs under the Edit System option in your UserCP (on the taskbar at the top of the page)

it helps us to know easier what ur specs are when trying to help, when we dont have to go back and read a seperate source to find out.... thanks!

nice system indeed

Very easy to over clock what you have. Tom's Hardware and http://www.anandtech.com/ have some very good guides. I will have a similar system soon when I upgrade my chip to at least a 6420 next week, and I will let you know what my settings are Right now I've got my 100 dollar chip running at what your chip is at stock...not too shabby!
