Thread Starter
I had this option to overclock with the control panel.. But after I did... something it's gone and stuff.. can anybody plz tell me how to get it back?
Overclocking sorta scares me.. I'm using safe settings with ExperTool now but I had it higher clocked and stable with the CP. Plz?

I'm using the classic panel btw.

What is gone, the C/P or the Clock Frequency Settings menu?

It's the OC menu thingy that's gone...

~Syrillian: I did what you asked (I think..) I'm not sure what you want to see though..

Nor am I sure how much it will help, I my CP GUI is in Norwegian but it should be the same as the English *shrug...

I updated a couple of days ago to the newest version of Forceware, when I installed the old version it wasn't there to begin with, but suddenly the OC settings was, and just as swiftly as it came it vanished...
If you want a translation of the GUI, I can do that, no prob.

I don't care for the driver version you are using, 93.71 are the buggiest version IMO.
Switch to the New C/P and see what's in there.

Have you checked to see that Coolbits is entered in the Registry?

Did you use Coolbits originally?

If so, try to re-enter it.

I'm pretty sure CB2 has been built into the drivers for awhile now.
I have not use the CB2 hack since the 85.56 version and have always had the OC panel since.

Coolbits?

Uhhmm.. *looks in registry...*
No idea... In regedit? How do one find anything in there..?

If I get the registry codes.. I could enter it into a wordpad .regdoc and try to enter it..?
Where would CB be in the reg?

You are most likely correct.

I have not been using Coolbits for a few months now, so I am effectively out of that particular loop.

When it comes to issues of this nature I follow the "laymans methodology" and remove and replace the offending software/utlility. most of the time it seems to work...

DVtriple6, bearing in mind what grunion has stated: What is the status?

I believe a reinstall is the way to go, as I stated earlier the 93.71 drivers are borked.

Open regedit>>>Regedit> Hkey> Local Machine> Software> nVidia Corp> Global> nVtweak and look for Coolbits.
