What are those smaller yellow squares in the picture. I got some with another fan controller. Are they for the temp. sensor? How are they used?

Its not an ac power cord, you plug from the wall into that and then from that to the psu. you also plug it into a usb, it is how it monitors the power. pretty cool

so it works kinda like this? Seems like the power cord running through ur system to ur bays would make everything kinda messy. Ill stick to kill-a-watt and a diff fan monitor

I don't think the whole power cord goes to the bay. I think that you plug that thing in line to your psu, that plugs into the slot usb port on the back, and then run a wire from that little slot cover usb thingy to the controller (inside the case). I'm not sure I am just guessing from the pics.
