*crosses fingers* oh man I hope AMD's next gen procs are very competitive with intel because like it was said our wallets will suffer if their not. You know I have a theory as to how AMD stole the performance crown from Intel a few years back. I think Intel regarded AMD as a boutique processor corp that wouldn't have the resources to produce anything mainstream. But towards the end of the S754 days/beginning of 939 AMD procs were running all over intel's and the people noticed. Once Intel started losing marketshare(albeit little) they were forced to recognize AMD, and really get to work on something to upstage the new performance king AMD. Now that conroe hit and is mopping AMD it dosen't look like Intel is going to call off the dogs, so all we can do is hope, Hope for some mercy on our checkbooks if AMD dosen't produce. Sorry for the novel
