Dual OS

I just bought myself a copy of Vista Home Premium and I was wondering if there is a way I can have to OS in one hard drive, maybe in seperate partions, is there anyway and is it safe, or can it damage my hardware?BTW I have XP pro now

Yes, you need to create a new partition, and it's perfectly safe. I use Acronis but it's not free. I'm sure there are other free partition managers though.

What you need to do is use Acronis or another program in XP to create a new partition, then install Vista in the new partition.
