Shoot for 4 GHz. If you don't get there, oh well.

I think 33.3 is the way to go, but I've never OC'ed an Intel before.

First may sure that you have set your pci-pci-e locked at 33.33 and 100. second, i highly recommend if not done so alrdy to reseat the HSF with some as5. Then wait a good day atleast and stick a divider on the ram. and set everything to manuel. then start upping the frequency by 7 or so at a time and reboot. test the stabililty and temp by using orthos and speedfan. after about a good hour or so up it again till your comp dosnt restart, then up the volts alittle,(Repeat). WHILE YOU USE OROTHOS WHATCH YOUR TEMPS I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!! if your load temps ever exceed 55c. you hit ur highest clock/volt settings.

I don't have any as5 and can't get any where I'm at without ordering it. The cooler that I have is NOT actually the stock one for a p4. This one came off of a pentium d 945. The core is copper instead of aluminum. Don't know if that makes a diff. I have some cheapo silver compound that I am using.

Wow, really? Did you run orothos to make sure it was stable? You should stick a divider really soon or else ur ram is going to poop out on you. also make sure temps r ok.

and stock aint that bad. i have really good airflow and just reseated my pressy and i am getting a good 27 idle and 47 load. just watch temps and you r good.
