In return, they will use PCP&C's knowledge to help improve their current 'affordable' PSU's. Win-win situation.
...hopefully. Or, they turn PC P&Cs into flashy PSUs and lower the quality to cut costs so they can have extra bling.

Although it's still pure speculation wieather they are going to integrate the brands or not. I personaly think they should. OCZ does produce a decent PSU but pc power makes a bit better so if they combine there knowledge we will get a kickass product in the end

Well I am glad I got my 750 Silencer while it was still 100% lil tiny PSU maker making it.

I am sick of mergers and buy outs and big companies swallowing good little companies and pooping them out after firing everyone to please the stockholders or whatever.

I am going to make my orders now for any more PC Power & Cooling Supplies before they change their look/form/function to suit the whims of a marketing mogul.

All OCZ has ever done IMO is ride on the coat-tails of other quality MFRs and slap their look on the product and hawk it as uber 1337 gamer gear.

That is the # 1 reason I own NO OCZ products. If I want a Tagan--I will buy a Tagan branded PSU...

I hate hype and to me that is the entire story of OCZ's success story--hyping the gear to gamer status with a flashy look.

That's a rebranded fortron 600W PSU. A great PSU non-the-less. There's a lot of unwarranted hate of OCZ on here. I think it stems from people just not liking something they like to change. Which I understand, though don't agree with.

Anyone who says they 'suck' probably hasn't owned one and can only quote one article saying anything meaningfully bad about them.
