So the king is the MCP 655 and you might as well just get the cheaper non-variable version and keep it cranked.

I also didn't know you can run the pump at 14V.hmmmm

Those graphs might look pretty, but on average we don't flow more than 10GPH in our loops IIRC. So the higher-head pumps take the cake at lower GPH.

I tested my loop today with a couple of 5 gallon buckets and figured I'm flowing around 1.6 gallons/minute or 96 gal/hr. But yeah I bet on more restrictive loops using blocks like the Storm etc, would really cut the flow down.

And I was thinking we were flowing like 3-5 gal/min...guess not.

Yeah I am running a quad rad with a 655pump into my Storm seems very SLOW.. I hope my new D-Tek will be better???

I'm only getting 3gpm in my loop with 2 in-line 18W DDC... ...1.5gpm is about average for a D-5 in a normal loop...Thats about what I was getting with a single 18W DDC...I have a pressure gauge in-line that you can convert the pressure to flow...I have no idea what it would be for th e D-5 I was given the formula for the DDC w/Petra top...
