Im running home xp at the moment

just wondering if all issues have been resolved with vista and is it worth upgrading yet?

Yeah go for it, with your system you'll be able to run it smoothly and will appreciate it at his max. I think there are still some few issues but they will get fixed with the next updates for sure. Just go for it before vista starts getting to common, you will feel unique compared to other ones

haha very true..

i have an x-fi platinum though... if i run 64 bit apparently i cant get drivers

are you sure a 7800gt would run alright on vista?

Yea i have vista ultimate and its pretty good. My computer runs it nice so yours should be fine.

The only way I would recommend going to vista, is if you keep your XP CDs too. Theres about a 50% chance you won't like something in it (Performance loss, driver issues, game issues, etc) Some people have no problems, other people have alot of problems.

im running vista on my laptop, love it and it works fine..

il probably upgrade just cause it looks cool

i need to know if it supports dual monitors though.

i have a 22" and 19" running dual on my setup at the moment

My games run really jerky on vista ultimate..

although, no doubt that's down to my failing gfx, cpu and ram

v_v i blame nvidia drivers though xP
