Well if you do, make sure you get 64 bit Vista. But you probably will not see a huge difference unless youre doing some heavy multitasking.

I did, but then again I run all games on max.

Unless you are running your games on ultra high with a high resolution (1920x1200+), I don't think its worth it.

I think you'd be better getting a better video card (8800GTS?) before ram.

GTX isn't worth it unless you upgrade your CPU too, cause its just gonna bottleneck. 450W is kind of close for a GTX also.

Well with your CPU (and dont take this personally like some do), I would say dont get the GTX. It'll be bottlenecked.

Edit - DAMN you MurlockE! lol

My 3800 x2 was bottlenecking my x1950xt in alot of games, so I think it would bottleneck a GTX like crazy.

Do remember that with a CPU bottleneck, it's just a matter of the CPU will put out a max of so many FPS, regardless of the resolution. So if that number doesn't dip below 60 in the games you play, then the GTS/X would be fine.

They would not be compatible. You'd have to get a new motherboard as well I'll let an AMD user suggest a better CPU. I'm an intel guy myself.
