It isn't directly illegal to do so. You see, OS X interfaces with the TPM on the proprietary motherboard Apples use when it installs, and it won't install if there isn't one. It's illegal to modify the operating system to circumvent this.
BTW, is this under a virtual machine? Or is it native? And how is the performance?
from what i understand is apple just used hardware like any other computer manufacture does just better quality
i mean emachines/etc use whatever hardware they can. just mod out overclocking stuff/etc from bios, so why wouldnt apple do something similar?
