Shared System/Video Memory...

Thread Starter
Hi

I have a Asus P5GZ-MX with the latest BIOS (v0601), however, whenever I disable the shared system/video memory in the BIOS it always returns to the default value (8Mb).

1. Is this a bug (can't find any info mentioning it)?
2. Is this seriously impacting the performance of my system when I'm playing memory hungry/graphic intensive games.
3. How do I fix it?

My video card is a nVidia GeForce 7300GS <- if that makes any difference.

1. It appears to be.... Google it to see if it's a common bug
2. Not even close. 8MB is more memory than solitaire needs.
3. Look for a BIOS update, or look for an "auto" setting in your BIOS, or try setting it to 0
