eVGA, XFX, and BFG have the best support of most companies. Other than support though, there is not much reason to go with one company over another unless one comes with a accessory that you just have to get.

if you live that close to tigerdirect that means they are in the same state which means you get taxed for online purchases.

I don't like asus, and that's a micro ATX mobo. If you're getting a full ATX case get a full atx mobo, IMO.

I'd put down the extra money for a DVD burner and a modular power supply. Good proc, RAM and HD though.

or you could save alot of money and get this
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...057&CatId=1560

then get a better processor or sli 2 8600's

Ok, first I dont want to buy a DvD burner because I honestly will never use it. Second, I want to stick with this video card and not the 8600 because I have only heard great things so far about the 8800 and I havent heard anything about the 8600. Lastly, I dont plan on buying from TigerDirect, it just has the stuff so I can link it.

Well no one has posted here for a bit so that means that my final list is all good?

All pretty decent, except for the PSU. Ultra is really, pretty lame. Look at the amperage levels on those 12v rails. What SLi and cpu combo could that thing run safely...i dunno, its a scary thought to me. Dont skimp on the foundation to your system, you will regret it later.

The PSU is mediocre. I got the same one at Fry's for $60-$60 rebate. I installed it to test the noise. It's quite loud, I would opt for a PSU with a quiet 80mm or 120mm+ fan.

Or if you can fit it in the budget, get a Silverstone or Corsair.
