Help! purchased 8800gts

Thread Starter
I just purchased an EVGA 8800gts 640MB from newegg. I installed the latest nvidia 8800 series drivers for windows xp pro. Buttons and text seem to look like their vibrating(shaky) badly on all resolutions. Higher the resolution the worse. Anyone have any ideas?

Does it do it with both DVI and VGA? If its on DVI I know Catylist has an option for alternate DVI mode thats supposed to help display corruption...idk if Nividias drivers have that though.
Very nice!

Right click on your desktop > Properties > Desktop > Advanced > and change your refresh rate. At least, I think that's the problem.

edit: I've been a Vista user for some time now so I can't exactly remember if those are the correct steps for changing the refresh rate.

Well i don't think this is your problem, but here goes, i while ago my monitors image started to shake, and it turned out that my speakers were to close to the monitor(magnets in speaker) were causing it.
