Coretemp crash

Thread Starter
I DLed coretemp to see my temps on the desktop, but whenever I start it up, I get a BSoD and my computer reboots. I've never overclocked, any help? I couldn't disable "speed stepping" because I could find out how to do it..

0.95 has been know to do that (at least on C2Q). Try using an older version like 0.94.

CT has some serious issues at the moment; use RMClock to monitor your core temps.

Yeah it worked. BIOS and coretemp say I'm running at 20 - 22C on stock cooling. This sounds good to me, is it?

BIOS is reporting a hypothetical temp that has no sensor tied to it, as such it isn't very accurate. Use RMClock and report back.
