New Rig, overclocking maybe?

Thread Starter
I'm not very sure if I should overclock or not because of worries of frying my CPU. Specs below. I'm not exactly sure about my core temps, but CoreTemp .94 says 29 and 30 and I have several windows open. (Steam, Trillian, Firefox, ZD, etc) I need help deciding and how to SAFELY overclock. I really can not afford to fry my CPU

If you keep an eye on the coretemps, not much can go wrong. With the stock cooler, keep the cpu voltage below 1.35v. That should bring you at or around 3.0Ghz if the temps are acceptable (below 55-60c under load).
