Basically, computer got a BSOD mid-game. Now, when i try to boot up, i get a long beep, then a pause, then a long beep and so on. I will leave the BIOS battery out overnight, but any OTHER suggestions or causes in case that doesnt work?

The anser to your problem should be found in the mb owners manual under troubleshooting, "long beep long pause" etc. That is what the beeps are for to tell you what the problem is.
reset cmos with jumper, no need to pull batt.

i got the same board as u. and the long beep and pause means its something to do with the RAM. MOBO is not detecting it so i think you should reseat them.

is your power LED also blinking?

Oh, is THAT what it means. I guess that's why hitting the case helps. Will have to look at the memory later.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the power light was flashing as well.

were you just joking about hitting the case? lol cause i can't think of anyways that it will help unless your system has a built in mic and responds to sound or something... lol

Of course not. I physically grabbed the entire case, and banged it against my computer desk this morning, after finding out leaving the battery out overnight didn't help.
