I have no complaints with western digital. between me and my brother we've had one fail in 12+ years.

I work at a computer store and this has been my experience. Forum posts complaining about these drives and phone calls to Seagate confirm the issues...yret the still sell the crappy drives.

You want proof FIND IT YOURSELF. WD is still the best regardless of what you say. Their performance is close to a Raptors performance and they ARE more reliable and cooler running and better then Seagate. Nothing yuo say can convice me otherwise. To me...EXPERIENCE is the only thing that matters....not PAID reviews and such.

Sorry but I only speak the truth.

Sorry. In a Sea of positive reviews, you're trying to sell us on Seagate being inferior to Western Digital. You should provide us with proof of forum posts, at least, or delete your post.

It's worthless when you look at the sudden influx of negative versus positive Western Digital reviews in this very thread.

Sry but I will not edit or delete my post.

mayers: oh I am not upset. I am always happy to set ppl straight when they need to be set straight. Ilove to help people...but only if they are willing to look past their fanboyisms' and accept it.

Enjoy your new 160GB Western Digital. You made an EXCELLENT choice.
