I agree that CSS is somewhat shoddy when it comes to aiming... but I think it has a lot to do with ping and the fact that they tried to change it from CS 1.6's nearly identical shot groupings for each weapon (that was being exploited). It's more real life to have it randomized, but it's still far from perfect.

The source engine is an awesome engine in my opinion for two reasons. It looks great and its efficient. I mean it's graphics are on par with bf2 in my opinion and yet it uses far less ram and graphical power to run it well. Go ahead flame me but a lot of the maps for CSS look great. If you don't believe me go download cs_wanda it really shows the power of the source engine.

Looking forward to this mod, Just hope it's not all jittery and buggy.

The Source Engine sucks because it only runs native on Windows. Epic Games and Id Software port their programs to other OSs, why can't Valve?

Im gald to here that this is coming,atleast these guys put a date on when to will come out unlike there big names where they make you wait tell the end of the year and tell you its coming out in a nother 3 to 6 months,I realy hate that.

It's about 40 megs, which is huge for a css map.

And Priapus just because it's not out on other platforms doesn't mean it sucks. It's out on windows and the game absolutely rocks in windows, it's a pity they didn't port it out but that doesn't make it any less of a entertaining game for me. I mean come on, how are you going to call half life 2 and css crappy games? The source engine was very innovative IMO, and going from 1.6 to source was a huge difference for me (for the better).

This could very well be because CS:S sucks (which, in my opinion, it doesn't) and not that the engine itself sucks.

The engine itself is a huge step in gaming, yet again, in my opinion.
