Oh well that link was useless then . The 3600 still is a great proc. at stock. Cheap and a dual core (futureproof)

Really isn't a direct cpu from intel to compare with that one, the closest would probably be the e4300 which would be faster at stock then the 3600+ X2 at stock. The e4300 is more expensive then the 3600+ X2 though.

Actually, to have a C2D cpu that is equal to the X2 3600 at stock, there has to be a 1.3Ghz Core 2 Duo, which there isn't. It probably would compare to the E2140 at 1.6Ghz at best, which is also a really cheap C2D and OC's even better then the X2 3600+.

the pentium D915 is comparable to this one...in terms of price i mean...but in performance the AMD is faster...and cheaper
