I added a 40 mm fan to my HD drive bay because it was running at 48c which 1c hotter than the manufacturer suggested. Not only did it drop my HD temp to 35c. It also dropped my CPU temp from 55c to 40c (and Ive seen it down to 36c)and the fans not even blowing on the HSF its actually blowing on the PSU. This is on my P4 folding rig so I am really impressed. The only other thing I did was remove the floppy drive to make room for the fan. To bad I cant OC this old Asrock 865G mobo. Maybe I should try something like clockgen or sumpn.
