Well go here to download Everest. Then Click on Computer, and then DMI. Next click th little + next to System Slots. If you click on a slot then look down at Type it will tell you what type of slot it is.

If I were you I would get some sort of high end 6 series card, or ati equilivant otherwise anything higher will be just totally bottlenecked by your cpu (well a lot of cards will be) and you wont have to worry about a new psu and it wont break the bank.

Also we could help you in another thread of course tweak and oc the rig so that you can squeeze a little more out of it man.

I was looking at a geforce 5 believe it was for 50 dollars from newegg that was 256mb. You can see it here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130197. I also know there is a switch next to my PSU for 115 to 230 would that help to add some extra power?

Id stay away from the 5 series its pretty much crap when it comes to DX9. Id get at least an X1300 or a 6200. And if you wanna go all the way then the X1950XT is the fastest card you can get for AGP...but it loves to consume power.
Very nice!

I'm not looking to spend that much though. Only 50 dollars is what I can afford, I'm poor I found this pc next to the trash..

It's cheaper and faster than that FX5500.

DONT TOUCH THAT!!!

thats to change the volts (or amps not sure).

I did it to mine and fried it( im in aus and we run on 240Volts, where u guys in the US run on 120 i believe) so if you were to change that to the 230 setting, you will fry ur PSU, and quite possibly the rest of your system.
