Forget loosening the timings, put it on a wacking big divider and find where the CPU's limit and then tweak the timings

Wow are you wrong. First, running the PCIe higher will NOT damage your video card. I've been running mine at 119MHz for about 6 months now with not a hiccup... and higher clocks.

As for the 'no added CPU stability'; perhaps. I've never seen a better CPU OC from changing the PCIe but others claim to have. The jury's still out on that one. I KNOW for a fact it increases GPU core stability. Just tell that to my 773MHz core speed at 119 but being able to break 760 at 100and 101.
