Looks like a tight fit for the 5/8 barb.

I purposely didn't finish slipping the tubing on, because I didn't want to cut it back off .... but it'll slip on the rest of the way fine.

Checked Big-R this morning and unfortunately no go on the G1/4" or BSPP sized fittings. The only thing I could find was some G1/4" to 3/8", they didn't even have the 1/2" and based on the size of the G1/4 I don't think they make anything bigger.

I took one of my swiftech G1/4" barbs in to check and now that I look more closely at them, I think the 1/2" style are as good as it gets for that thread diamter, you don't have a step down inside like you do with the 3/8" NPT size to 1/2". And the narrow diameter is probably a good thing for the inlet side on most water blocks anyhow.

Ok,
Well I just finished installing mine on my rads along with some other mods. One thing I notice that I hadn't before is the barbs are not "Exactly" the same. The thread pitch is just slightly off.

I didn't really notice putting them in the res, but it was fairly tight to get them into the radiators.

Anyway, they worked ok for my radiator (still used the silicone on the threads), but I thought you should know. You might end up tweaking the threads on the reservoir ever so slightly. I can also send you my old res for free, that way you can't mess up your original.

I can pick up the barbs tomorrow afternoon if you PM me where you want me to send them.
