My vga ain't the problem 100% sure i say again lol. And Grunion and rick arter that's the only solution i haven't tried yet, try another card in my mobo. Well most of the guys i know here are still on agp lol :/ it's hard to find one pci-e.

No a/c units or air filters have been moved. However, out of curiosity, there is one other possible option if tis not the mb, I'll go check the neighbour's house next door and see if with the same wall which touches my pc there's a nuclear reactor or something *thinks*

However d good news iced, is that with my next paycheck, i'll be getting new mb/ram/cpu

This is the only other thing I could think of other than what everyone else mentioned, but have you checked that the refresh rate that your card is running is one that the monitor supports? Worth a shot...

i dont know if this would be the case, but do you have any magnet type things around your monitor? One time i had a magnet laying by my monitor and it made the pixels all screwy..... ive never heard of that specific problem before but it would be my advice to check for magnet stuff around your monitor, that seems to be the most frequent cause for monitor distortion that i know of

good luck fixin man

Good thought, but LCD screens are not susceptible to magnetic fields--only CRT monitors. I was going to mention that, but just happened to notice that someone asked if it's a CRT--which it is. But a magnet would have made the problem easier to solve...

Hey guys, thanks for all the support, didn't think i'd ever get this much help lol, rep+ to all good replies

But the sad part, is that i had already tried all the frequencies (60Hz-75Hz) at the 1280 x 1024 res that's as far as it will go.

No Magnets are around the case, either. ._.

I was thinking it might be also a shorted wire, maybe touching the back of the mb or something. If only I can find someone close by with a spare pci-e card.. lol

Since we're on this thread still, what do u guys think of the TT shark? or the TT armor. I need a good case airflow which doesn't cost a fortune so then i can modify the case too

hmm.... I havn't read everything so I might repeat but,

if there is an OC obviously get rid of it, if it just happened one day, try reseting cmos, all the normal stuff, check how hot the card is running, it could be some sort of heat issue for sure, if you have an on board output plug it into that and make sure it works, other than that, all you can do is try to borrow some parts and switch stuff out to find the culprit.

Try and pick up a cheap pci (yes, pci, not pci-e) video card for a few dollors, see if that works.
