Cooler master ASTACKER case
Nvidia 680I mother board
OCZ 700 watt power supply
Gforce 8800 GTX 600MHz 768 Ram gddr3 Over Clocked.
OCZ PC2 8500 Sli ready 5-5-5-15 (4 gigs) Ram.
Intel Core2 Quad 2.40 GHz (Its showing around 60-70 Celcius...)
Running 4 Side Fans a Razor Diamond Back mouse and the Saitek Eclipse 2 keyboard with a 22in LG 3000:1 2ms Monitor.'
And 2 139 Gig Raptor (10,000 Rpm) Harddrives

I have 7 Fans total on my system One in the front for the HD 4 on the side of the case One on power supply and one in the back also have a mini fan attached to the heat sink near the processor so thats

I also have a big ass fan to cool my case if needed. Ive never tried to over clock but some people suggested I do it with my rig.

What programs do I need to do it what do I need to watch out for and can this make my system explode and make me go emo and kill my self because this rig has cost me over 3 grand.

Apreciate any advice given thanks in advance!

you dont need any programs to OC, you just need to go into your BIOS and start upping the FSb and then when it wont POST then you up the voltage, but to monitor temps you can use coretemp version 0.94, everest ultimate, or Sisoft sandra lite, by the way very nice system

is this laod or idle? to test load just download a program called Orthos and run the small FFT's and then see what your temps are but i reccomend getting a better cooler since 60C is still pretty high

Didn't even notice you had a quad.

Your temps are acceptable, but you could try a reseat if you think they could be better.

Small line of AS5 down the middle is all you need

once again is this load? if it is then yeah try upping the Front Side Bus, if this is idle then definateley need better cooling
