Rofl not even worth my time in selling both of them then, I'll probably just put up the chips for sale and the mobos will be imclouded if the buyer wants them if not then there going to visit the trash can.

Ya i was thinking that as well 25+shipping.

Just need whatever i can get towards a new graphics card and CPU chip for my Asus P4P800 cause i cant afford to upgrade the mobo just yet.

You are mistaken, PCI-Express wasn't even invented when these boards were on the market. The slot you are refering to is actually a CNR slot. They were a new standard introduced by Intel in 2000 but never seemed to take off and the only device I've ever owned that made use of one was an old 56k dial up modem.

Well thats awesome you just awnsered everything i basically wanted to know about it before i stick it up for sale so i can give at least some run down of what it is. REP+ thanks matey.

dont know much old pc info beyond the pentium 4 478 cpus?my friend has that same board the MEW but its a AM ? think its got a Pentium 3 866 mhz in it!

The MEW-AM is based on a newer PCB than the MEW-VM but otherwise they both offer the same features. Though the MEW-AM has onboard graphics and four PCI slots.
