Ok I recently posted here about my fan issue. I was simply being dumb and should have just gone to bed that night. When I woke up the next day it was easy to see why I was having such a hard time getting the fan to sit properly into place. Anyway I sucessfully assembled the computer...well by successfully I mean running. Though I was very unfamiliar with the SATA setup it was easy enough. Well my problem is that I noticed my processor is running at 50C, which I assumed to be a little on the hight side considering that the computer was at idle. I am still so new at all of this though I am enjoying having control of all my settings now that I am no longer using Dell, which I loathe. I have an ASUS M2N4 Motherboard, an AM2 3800+ and a Tt silent boost K8 cpu fan. Isn't this a little hot to be running at idle. I also used Arctic Silver thermal paste, so I know that is not the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions.
